Europe the land of generosity

This project began with the handwritten stories of people the artist met in Calais, France, trying to cross the border to reach the UK. The authors, in conversation with the artist, were asked to recount their journey of arriving in Europe. Ink jet prints are made from scanned pen-on-paper originals which are written in Arabic, French, Tigrinya, and Pashto. Live English translations are included as audio installations.
